He said the frequency of Trump\u2019s medical visits is consistent with his age and noted that most people approaching 80 see their doctor regularly. When asked what he would specifically be monitoring,\u00a0he was direct:<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Dr. Kuhlman said he would want to see a treadmill test alongside a CAT scan of the coronary arteries to assess heart health.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

On cancer, he noted Trump\u2019s risk is lower given that he has never smoked and has always been a nondrinker. For cognitive health, he said more advanced testing would be preferable to a short screening.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

The scrutiny around this latest visit did not come from nowhere. Over the past year, several physical changes in the president have drawn sustained public attention.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

In July 2025,\u00a0reports said that Trump\u00a0was found to have chronic venous insufficiency after noticing \u201cmild swelling\u201d in his lower legs.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

The condition, common in older adults, causes blood to pool in the veins when small internal valves gradually lose their ability to function properly.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Around the same time, visible discoloration could be seen on the backs of both of Trump\u2019s hands. When questioned about the marks by a reporter, he said he had\u00a0scraped his hand<\/a>\u00a0against a table and applied cream to the area afterward.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

He has also separately attributed the discoloration to frequent handshaking and his habit of taking a higher daily dose of aspirin than typically advised, which can make a person more susceptible to skin marking.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Then, in early March 2026, a rash appeared on the right side of the president\u2019s neck, rising above his collar and stopping just below his ear, visible during a Medal of Honor ceremony at the White House on March 2.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

His physician, Navy Capt. Sean Barbabella said Trump was using a widely used cream as a preventative skin treatment and that the redness was expected to last a few weeks.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Despite the public questions, Trump\u2019s official medical assessments have consistently presented a reassuring picture. Barbabella stated in a memo following an October 2025 Walter Reed visit that Trump\u00a0was in exceptional health, with strong cardiovascular, pulmonary, neurological, and physical performance.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

He also noted that Trump\u2019s cardiac age was approximately 14 years younger than his actual age.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
